Caregivers and Caregiver Business’s are using Medical Alert EMT Systems to save lives
Just like at the hospital, there is a nurse call button by the bed. At home there is an emergency wrist or pendant to call for emergency help.
It only makes sense , wouldn’t you want the best help available STAT! Emergency’s do arise, You need help, You need life saving help.
While the caregiver is there or not a button could be pressed establishing a two way voice communication with EMT’s to help advise on the action to take.
Beware of the company’s that advertise trained professional’s , they cannot advise in a crisis. What you need is a EMT certified medical alert company. This will cut out the lost time, get right to work advising on the action to take and safeguarding the situation.

Hip Fractures and the Elderly
Hip fractures in the elderly are common—for every 10 hip fractures, about nine occur in people over the age of 60. “Hip fractures double with every five-year increase in age [after age 50],” says Sandy B. Ganz, PT, DSc, GCS, the director of rehabilitation at Amsterdam Nursing Home in New York City. By 90 years of age, one in four women and one in eight men will have fractured a hip, according to a study done by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Hip fractures in the elderly are critical ailments, with possible life-endangering complications. Surgeries to fix breaks are common and consistently effective, while healing can take an entire year.

Real Time Vital signs & Inactivity Monitoring for your loved ones
Have you ever wondered what mom’s doing when your not there? You often say things like, “Did she wake up this morning?” or maybe, “I wonder if she remembered to take her morning pills?” Today Medics SOS announces a new advanced medical alert system! This console features an Inactivity monitor or what we like to call it a “check in” button. It may be used in multiple ways, medication reminders, wake up time, etc. A friendly voice in which asks if you have done these tasks, you simply push the check button if you have, if not a signal will be sent to the Medics SOS EMT monitoring center where they will establish two-way voice through the console to make sure everything is OK! This unit also features blood pressure, ECG, and Glucometer monitoring in which real time vital sign data can be sent to our monitoring center in the event of an emergency or just checking in. Yes that’s right, Real time! visit www.medicssos.com/products.html to learn more on how our products are saving lives each and everyday!
